Something for the Weekend

Is it the weekend already? This week seemed to drag on.

I learned a lot about my dependence on electricity.
I never knew how much I’d miss being able to do a load of laundry when I felt the need.
I never noticed how much I read is online and not on a printed page.

So many things we’ve learned, uncovered and explored. We have a lot more learning to do, and I’ve come up with a few new experiments to try out. Maybe downsizing our things a bit more. Maybe reorganizing how we use our space. Maybe. Maybe. Maybe.

Hurricane Sandy taught me a lot.
A lot about ‘stuff’ and relationships.

I am thankful, thankful, thankful.

What can you do to help? Here are a few ideas from Lifehacker.

I’m letting the pressure go; the case for mediocrity. And, it’s okay to throw out the word perfect.

When I read things like 60 Life Lessons I Learned from my Parents, I read them to learn what values I really want to teach our children. (And recognize what values I’ve learned from my own parents). I feel we are on the right path.

There might be something to this.

I should visit this site regularly if I hope to stay away from candy!

I’ve caught myself full of too much judgement, but she’s right, I’m the only one who feels bad from it.

This little stick bug held onto my car window on the highway all the way from my house, to my mom’s, to the store… and then a friend flicked him off. He’s now living in Eatontown, please say hello if you see him.
