Something for the Weekend

It’s been awhile since I’ve shared my old Something for the Weekend link lists…

I absolutely love what The Lean Green Bean does with her bytes, but I cannot guarantee mine will ever look as pretty or be as extensive as hers!

Other People Make it Look Easy.

I’ve been on the Low Information Diet for a few years now. It’s working. The news I do read is the printed magazine, The Week, which gives me an overview of everything happening all around the world.

We work from a zero-sum budget. I didn’t realize there was any other type of budget when I created ours eight years ago, so I guess I was ahead of the game! The zero-sum really helped us focus our goals and become debt-free.

You have the power to wake up on the right side of the bed every single morning for the rest of your life.

I mentioned above I read The Week on occasion and this past week an article stuck out at me. Makes me wonder about how our diet/exercise information will be used in the future.

Since my blog has been haphazard for awhile, haha, maybe always, I’m going to attempt using an Editorial Calendar again to set myself straight. We’ll see what happens 🙂

I’ve also spent the past week putting the finishing touches on an essay about librarianship that is being published. I’m so excited and hope that my writing helps someone else. Chris and my English teacher-friend David have helped me not sound like a bumbling fool in print, or did they? Thanks guys!
