Hey there, it’s been a week. I needed a bit of a break and will be taking a few days more. Life changes are in the works right now. We are truly blessed. I’ll share more when I can (and no, it’s not a pregnancy!).
I haven’t been taking good care of my body, mostly filling it with stress-induced food desires and skipping exercise unless a friend coerces me into a walk/run date. Lately, I keep hitting the reset button only to slip into a sugar induced state shortly before bedtime. So, unfortunately, I’m not the inspiration I seek to be in the world.
I’m trying to celebrate the good things while not beating myself up so much about not meeting my weight-loss, running, and other fitness goals by this summer. It’s not always easy, but I’m going to break out of this funk to run a 5 miler one month from tomorrow.
