When one chapter ends, another one begins.

It’s been a little over a month now – I’ve been leading a double-life. I’ve been preparing for a new role, in a new school closer to home. Today, I finally put in my notice with my former school of four lovely years. I already miss the staff and students I’ve come to love like one big fun dysfunctional family.

While it’s a bittersweet time, I am overjoyed at the journey ahead; meeting new people and working with trendsetting educational technology in the school library setting. I am grateful each day that I get to continue to do what I love. What keeps me going in the midst of chaos is to focus on helping others, and the rest falls into place.

The past month has been a swirl of huge life changes between work and family that we are embracing wholeheartedly. Well, I am trying to embrace the changes without totally freaking out most days 🙂 I’m all about honesty, that is why I could not write you much without spilling my guts. The surprise is much more exciting now, isn’t it?

But wait, there’ll be more surprises to come this summer…

Cheers to new challenges, excitement, and memory-making ahead at work and home.
