It’s been a little while, I know. I haven’t really missed writing too much, my bad, but when I’ve had thoughts to share I haven’t made the time to sit down and share them. It’s just not been a priority lately, and I’m okay with that.
I’ve been spending my extra time working for a friend the past month. It has worked out really well and has been an enjoyable experience helping her grow her business. This has used up quite a bit of mental energy in a positive way and has left little where I normally would exhaust that brain power writing here. The plus side, I get paid real money for that brain power! And it’s helping someone I’d love to see grow!
In addition, any downtime I’ve spent crocheting Mario and Luigi hats for my boys for their Halloween costumes and cute treat bags for them to carry around, too. I love crocheting and creating with my hands. The list of projects I’d like to complete is never-ending, but the summer was spent crocheting baby blankets and getting a jump start on all the winter hats I make for nieces and nephews for Christmas.
I have a bunch of podcast interviews I recorded this summer that’ll be coming out in the next few months. After that, I may shift gears with my podcast and head in a slightly less interview based direction. More to come in a future episode on those ideas, but I hope you enjoy the interviews I have published!
After all, the point of life is to spend it doing what you enjoy. Right now, I’m highly enjoying the tech-free weekends and making my family a priority, as well as my health. I’ve been doing a deep-dive in taking care of my body which is proving to have good results. Plus my desire to cook amazing tasting food has returned!
Alas, I’m also becoming more involved in our neighborhood school community offering my services there. It feels good at the end of the week to look back at all of the projects I’m helping with and the support I’m able to give to others.
I may return more regularly here, but most likely not before the new year. Thanks for hanging in there…
Mortgage updates to come soon. I cannot wait to get back to knocking that out this school year!
